A grad of Oral Roberts University (Class of ‘92), I'm married to the beautiful, wonderful, and intelligent Shari Loeffler (ORU Class of ‘94). We have four boys whom we love tremendously—Michael (‘97), Mark (‘99), Matthew (‘02), and Benjamin (‘04). Shari and I enjoy the outdoors, which was a helpful factor in our decision to move to Montana. We especially enjoy exploring new places, which, for us, the Bitterroot Valley is full of.
I grew up in Puyallup, WA, but graduated from Concrete HS in 1988. After getting my music degree at ORU, God called me to minister to youth in small, rural communities. I worked full time with teens for fourteen years through an organization called Youth Dynamics, first in Concrete, WA, then in Moses Lake, WA. In the fall of 2006, God called Shari and I to move our family to work with the youth of Lolo Community Church as their first full-time youth pastor.
OTHER FUN FACTS: I enjoy jazz music, good books, and a good, hot, mocha at a local coffee shop (Starbucks doesn’t count as local). I’m a Seahawks and Mariners fan, but would rather play basketball than watch it. I have “champagne tastes on a beer budget” when it comes to technology (I enjoy it, but can’t afford it.) I don’t own a TV, and don’t want one.
