SHEPHERDS' CONFERENCE 2024

April 16 - 18, 2024

Discovery Alliance Church

2630 Connery Way, Missoula

The Bible in its Times:

The Importance of Understanding the culture, Context and Geography in Bible Study

2 Timothy 2:15 states we are to,Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.”  To help us accurately handle God’s Word better, the focus of this year’s conference will be to consider the importance of culture, geography, and archaeology in Bible study.  These areas are vital for accurate interpretation and the understanding of Scripture.

Our speaker will be Dr. Paul Wright. He is an internationally known, highly respected Bible teacher and author specializing in the cultural and historical settings of the Bible.  For the last 20 years he had been the president of Jerusalem University College, located in the Old City of Jerusalem.  His main classroom was the 100’s of sites where the events of the Bible took place.  Most of us may never get to Israel, so Paul will be bringing Israel to us helping us see the importance of understanding the Bible in the settings it which it was written.

This is truly going to be a great conference and time of learning.  There will be great singing, fellowship, and practical breakout sessions to choose from.  Don’t miss this special opportunity to get world class teaching right here in Montana.  Register today! Invite a friend.  Everyone is welcome.
